1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Vernissage application (the "Service") provided by Atelier Labs (the "Company," "we," "us" or "our"), and set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and you.

2. Definitions

(1) "Service" means all features provided by the Company, including information about museums, exhibitions, artworks and artists, and the personal archive. (2) "User" or "you" means any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service. (3) "Account" means the information used to identify you, created when you sign in with a social account such as Google, Kakao or Naver.

3. Applicability and Changes to These Terms

(1) These Terms apply to everyone who uses the Service. (2) We may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. We will give advance notice of any amendment through an announcement in the Service. (3) By continuing to use the Service after the amended Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by the amended Terms.

4. Use of the Service

(1) You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service. (2) Certain features of the Service are available only to users who have created an account and signed in. (3) We may carry out maintenance, or suspend all or part of the Service temporarily, without prior notice in order to keep the Service running reliably. (4) We may use your device's location information to provide location-based features, such as finding nearby museums. You may withdraw your consent to sharing location information at any time in your device settings; if you do, location-based features may not be available. (5) We may set a minimum supported app version for the security and stable operation of the Service. If you use a version older than the minimum, your access to the Service may be restricted until you update to the latest version.

5. Your Account and Account Deletion

(1) You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date. (2) You may not share your account with anyone else or use another person's account. (3) You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. (4) You are responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to manage your account information properly, and the Company shall not be liable for such loss or damage. (5) You may delete your account at any time using the delete account feature on the profile editing screen. When you delete your account, personally identifiable information such as your email address is de-identified immediately and you will no longer be able to sign in to that account. Activity data you created, such as visit logs, may be retained in de-identified form for purposes such as service statistics.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

(1) All intellectual property rights in the content provided by the Company through the Service, including text, images and data, belong to the Company or to the respective original rights holders. Content obtained from third-party sources such as Wikipedia and Wikidata is subject to the source attribution shown in the Service and to the applicable license. (2) You retain the intellectual property rights in the content you post to the Service, such as visit logs and notes. (3) You may not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without our prior consent, except for use of third-party content described in paragraph (1) to the extent permitted by its applicable license. (4) We may review and incorporate into the Service any requests to add museums, exhibitions, artworks or artists, suggested corrections, error reports and other submissions you send through the "Contact us" feature. We may decline to incorporate any submission at our discretion based on our review. Information we incorporate may be made available to other users as part of the Service.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (1) use another person's personal information without authorization or submit false information; (2) interfere with the operation of the Service or exploit any vulnerability in it; (3) distribute illegal or harmful material, such as obscene or violent content, through the Service; (4) use the Service for commercial activities without our consent; or (5) engage in any conduct that violates applicable law.

8. Changes to and Discontinuation of the Service

(1) We may modify or discontinue the Service for business, technical or legal reasons, including changes in applicable law. (2) If we discontinue the Service, we will notify you through an announcement in the Service at least 30 days in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

(1) The Company shall not be liable for any interruption of the Service caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, telecommunications failures or server outages. (2) The Company shall not be liable for any failure to obtain expected benefits or for any loss you incur through your use of the Service. (3) The Company makes no warranty as to the accuracy or reliability of content posted by users.
